Dr. Pamela Subtil, PT, DPT
Physical Therapist
Dr. Pamela Subtil is a physical therapist passionate about empowering patients throughout their rehabilitation journey. She believes education is an essential part of physical therapy. She strives to demystify the human body by helping patients understand the “why” behind their symptoms. Her goal is to create a collaborative environment where patients feel informed and actively involved in their recovery.
She earned her Bachelor's in Health Sciences from the University of Hartford and her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Sacred Heart University. During her clinical education, she gained experience in a variety of hospital settings across Connecticut, working in both neurologic and orthopedic rehabilitation. These experiences shaped her approach to patient care and her belief that these areas of physical therapy often complement one another.
Clinically, she has a special interest in orthopedic and neurologic rehabilitation and enjoys incorporating skills from both areas into her treatment approach. She values individualized care and finding creative ways to help patients improve their strength, mobility, and function.
With a background in dance and a certificate in assisted stretching, she brings a unique perspective on movement and body awareness to her practice. She believes that movement should be both purposeful and meaningful and enjoys helping patients work toward the activities and goals that are important to them.
“There’s power in understanding your body and confidence in knowing what it’s capable of.”
Outside the clinic, she enjoys dancing, listening to music, crocheting, and exploring new restaurants with friends and family."
