Dr. Mario Pasquel, PT, DPT, CSCS
- Physical Therapist
Mario arrived to the United States when he was 3 years old with his older sister and his parents, carrying their dream to take advantage of the vast opportunities that their new home offered. Towards the end of high school, Mario became interested in the mechanics of sports injuries and how one can rehabilitate and return to their activities. Months later his close friend suffered a spinal cord injury; fortunately he was able to make a full recovery after extensive physical therapy. This introduced Mario to a field that can positively affect the lives of others after witnessing his friend’s full recovery. Mario attended the University of Connecticut receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Strength and Conditioning, then became a certified strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS). While at UConn, he was able to intern with various Strength and Conditioning coaches and their teams, which included Football, Baseball, Softball, Track and Volleyball. He then graduated from Seton Hall University in 2017, with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy, gaining experience in orthopedic, neuromuscular and cardiopulmonary conditions. When he’s not working, Mario enjoys staying active, reading books, attending family events and drinking coffee.
