Michelle Teysseire
- Physical Therapy Aide
Michelle is a recent graduate of the University of Connecticut, where she studied AlliedHealth Studies. During this time, she was an undergraduate research assistant for the Korey Stringer Institute, who is involved in the research of physiological studies and exercise testing in excessively humid and hot environments. Michelle was a competitive gymnast for eleven years, and has been a lead gymnastics instructor at Tumble Jungle in Norwalk since 2015. The experience of seeing her students become stronger gymnasts inspired Michelle to pursue her interest in physical therapy. In addition, Michelle also has her phlebotomy license.
Ultimately, Michelle would like to continue to expand her experience and knowledge in the physical therapy field while applying to programs for her Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT). Her goal is to start a DPT program in September of 2021.
During Michelle’s free time, she enjoys boxing, grabbing coffee with a friend, sitting at the beach
(even if it’s in her car), and spending time with family.
